Seventh Chapter, Alexander

It's not my fault that my heart beats when I see Sophia. It's not of her looks, of course, because she looks exactly like..... Avelyn. Sophia has a way better attitude than Avelyn, that's what I like about her - her personality. Gabriel is wrong. I love Sophia, not Avelyn.

'What the hell is wrong with me?!' I asked myself, comparing Avelyn with Sophia? Sophia is way better, right? I came so far, just to be thrown off my tracks by Gabriel? 'Heck, no!' I thought out loud.

'Hey, you're right. We might have more class in common.' said Sophia as she grabbed the chair next to me and sat down.

'Oh, hi.' I answered weakly. Gabriel got to me, again.

'You know, we're having a party for my friend, Tiffany. It's her birthday. You should drop by. I'll introduce you to everyone there.'

'Oh sure.' I answered. This might answer my doubt. A night with Sophia is enough to determine my feelings.

'Six o'clock. At Virginia Grills. I'll give you the directions later.' She stood up and sat next to Mina before the teacher came in.

After the class ended, she passed me a piece of paper and mouthed 'Be punctual'.

Something to look forward to? I'll find out what my heart palpitate for, Sophia or a mirrored version of Avelyn.

'On a date?' Gabriel asked as he came into my room. Ever heard of privacy?

'When will you learn what none-of-your-fucking-business means?' I snapped at him.

'It's unfortunately, not in my dictionary. Go ahead, don't tell me. I'll have fun following you, the whole entire day.' he said sarcastically, snickering.

'I'm going for a party that Sophia invited me to, okay? I said, giving in.

'Oh, getting introduced into the in-crowd already, brother? Not bad.' he laughed, out loud.

I walked out of the room, furiously. Why does he have to make everything seriously bad for me?

'I'm coming along.' Gabriel said as he saunter next to me.

I was infuriated. I slammed him against the wall, seizing his neck. 'CAN'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?!' I shouted, letting out an angry snarl.

'Tsk, you should grip harder.' he said calmly as he dislodge my hand away and slammed me against the wall.

'My turn.' he smirked while I tried to wrench free.

'Let go.' I plead, I can't take this anymore.

'Well, you screwed my life. So I should too, screw yours. Full stop.' he loosen his grip around my neck as I gasped for air.

I left the house as Gabriel jumped into his car and followed mine. Jerk.

When I stepped my foot into Virginia Grills, I instantly heard Sophia's voice. Yeah, I made my mind up. I love Sophia, Sophia. It was just Gabriel's mind trick.

Now that I cleared my head, I just need a plot to get Gabriel out of my life.
He doesn't hate me very much. I just need to make him hate me so much, that he'll get out of my life, for good.
